Dance Workshops for All Levels

Our speciality is residential courses in Scottish country dancing featuring a variety of teachers and musicians, many from abroad. While some workshops are taught in German, most (especially the more advanced ones) are presented in English and attract an audience from all over Germany, the adjacent countries, and Britain.

Dancing in the Kuckucksnest

All workshops begin with supper followed by an evening of easy dancing so that everyone can relax and get settled in. The schedule is usually relaxed, consisting of classes in the morning and late afternoon, with time after lunch for digesting our tasty food, going for a walk outside, or sitting in the garden. In the evenings there is usually social dancing, possibly interspersed with more casual instruction.
